The artists of Qian Kiln & Fine Art fuse the ancient Chinese arts of painting, calligraphy and ceramics with a modern perspective to produce one-of-a-kind porcelain vases. A new entrant in the U.S. decorative arts market, the company needed to establish a strong brand presence that celebrates the cultural significance of their porcelain and introduces American audiences to an art form they might not be familiar with.

We created a brand for Qian Kiln that tells the story of how their unique pieces make the journey from Jingdezhen, China to the U.S. The graphic approach reflects the artistry and delicacy of their porcelain. We overlaid images with graphics we hand-traced from their porcelain designs to imbue the site with a personalized, handcrafted feel and let visitors know this porcelain is something special.
